The Modern Couple

We describe our weddings as fun, modern, unique, natural, and genuine – an interesting combination to say the least.  We achieve these things through having created a venue and an event team that has the modern couple in mind.  “The Modern Couple” is actually the concept that our whole company was built around.  We’ve noticed that too many other venues these days are difficult to work with, they don’t really respond, they don’t seem to care, and they’re not willing to accommodate their couples!  Where is the fun and flexibility of building a beautiful wedding?  Honestly, brides these days seem to be more stressed than they are happy when planning.  So, we made sure to set ourselves up in a way that offered a breath of fresh air to the industry, to offer a flexibility that seems to have been lost on our competition.

Each event at The Lakeside Manor includes a dedicated Event Manager, they’re with you from the time of booking to the week of your event.  You’ll have their cell phone number and email, and you’re encouraged to reach out anytime you need something or have a question.  Want a suggestion for a DJ – text your Event Manger.  Want to talk about your feelings – text your Event Manager (though we’re not therapists, we are good listeners).  Either way, we truly want you to enjoy your planning experience, and to spend your Wedding day smiling at your partner – not stressing about the details.

 The Property with Personality

Let’s talk about the property for a minute, it’s pretty cool after all. Getting past the fact that each rental includes a three night stay in the two-story Manor House (which has 5-bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a giant second story deck, and a large run room). The event spaces themselves feature quite a few unique areas and aspects. The lakefront spaces include a dock that expands the width of the property, a large putting green, giant chess set, and overhead Edison bulb string-lights. This gives your guests a super cool space to enjoy cocktails, cigars, and good conversation. Our main event space, which is located directly behind the house, is equally as interesting. This area features a sizable open area of grass which is great for dinner tables, a beautiful pool, large tiki bar, and an elevate deck which overlooks the lakeside event space.

You Have Options

The property is unique, the spaces are dynamic, and our staff is dedicated. We wanted to put together the perfect wedding venue, and we think we got close. But if you don’t feel this property is right for you, then check out some of our other locations. They all have the same great team, just different aesthetics, inclusions, and space options.

Every rental includes a three night four day stay on property, this gives you plenty of possibility when it comes to getting creative.  You can choose whichever days you want, which means you can set things up in whatever way you want.  Some of our guests check in early and use the day before their wedding to host a small family party, ending the night with a rehearsal dinner.  Other guests will use the extra days on property to lounge around by the pool and create a staycation.  Plus, if you’re staying on property then technically there is no end time to your reception (which we know we will regret saying). Whatever it is that you plan to do, whether it be a staycation, a destination wedding, or a getaway with family – we would be happy to accommodate you.
