My story is not usual, but it has a happy ending! When I was looking for a catering hall for my summer wedding the Lakeside Manor was already booked. So we booked my wedding at the Excelsior in Manalapan. Six weeks before my wedding, my parents got a call that the Excelsior was being closed in 2 wks. Talk about a nightmare…..but thanks to Syed and his staff I had my dream wedding. By fate, there was a cancellation same day and time at the Lakeside Manor b/c a bride had to postpone her wedding. IT WAS PURE FATE! When I met Syed he made us feel very welcome. He promised me I’d have a wonderful wedding and not to worry. The Manor is gorgeous- the ballroom was really breathtaking. The drapery on the ceiling is so elegant and with the special lighting looks even more amazing. Syed was very nice and easygoing to work with. I dont have one complaint. My ceremony was held inside and it was perfect. We used the wall dividers to hide the otherside and my florist added tulle to make it look pretty. It really came out great! All my guests have been complimenting the food and atmosphere. I hear the cocktail hour food was the best. As the bride, I didn’t eat much that night. I was having a wonderful time and scared to stain my ballgown. LOL! The champagne toast was very cool with the sparklers. Our name in lights on the floor and the red lighting we used made it extra special. The dance floor was comfortable with our party of 200 guests. Our dramatic entrance from the staircase was incredible. It had a romantic look with the lights and tulle. My bridal suite was huge. Best suite I’ve ever seen. Syed is very professional and was visible throughout my wedding making sure there were no problems. His staff was also exceptional. The Vienese table is always a highlight with the chocolate fountain and assortment of goodies. I recommend this place to any bride looking for a romantic and elegant wedding. The outdoors is nice with the gazebo, I just didn’t want to be outside in August in my ballgown with the heat. The Lakeside Manor has 1 wedding at a time…so there’s no running into other brides or parties. Lakeside Manor is exceptional- check it out.

The food was awesome and the Lakeside did a beautiful job. Syed made sure everything was to our liking and that all our questions, no matter how small or sounding stupid, were answered. He always made time for us and made my family feel valued. This was most appreciated when the stress started to creep in the week before our affair. Our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah was a complete success and we just booked the Lakeside again for our son’s Bar Mitzvah in June 2013. I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else after our experience at the Lakeside.

Syed treated us like we were part of his family. Everyone wants the best for their family, and that is 100% what we got. From the day we booked the wedding and still to this day, Syed goes out of his way to make the day special. The wedding couldn’t have gone any better, as Syed assured us from day one that he would take care of everything and all we had to do was show up and have a good time. When I say that he delivered on his every promise, from the food tasting to the fact that he himself was there the day of our wedding to oversee every little detail. The venue was beautiful, the food was absolutely deliscious and Syed promised us nothing short of perfection, and he certainly delivered, exceeding our expectations and making our wedding day perfect, and one that every guest will remember for a long time to come. Thank you Syed, for treating us like a member of your family, you certainly made the day magical.

We recently had our wedding at Lakeside Manor November 20, 2010. Lakeside Manor was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. We knew that it was a beautiful place, but when we walked in on our wedding day, Lakeside Manor was absolutely gorgeous! Every single detail was perfect. We had our pictures taken here and the lake in the back made for a magnificent background. Our ceremony was inside Lakeside Manor. Syed and the staff did a great job with the set up for the 250 people that attended our wedding. The up lighting added to the elegance. The cocktail hour was incredible. The assortment of food and the presentation was remarkable and to die for. We really cannot express how perfect our wedding was at Lakeside. The maître de catered to us from start to finish. She ensured that we had food and drinks at all times. Syed and the Lakeside staff are wonderful people to work with. Syed was very helpful throughout my entire wedding planning! He was there from start to finish overseeing every detail to ensure that my wedding was flawless. We really cannot say enough great things about him. From the second that my wedding party arrived, Syed was right there greeting us and helping with anything we needed. The maître de and all the wait staff were very attentive. I can honestly say that while we were on our honeymoon EVERYONE called my parents and left messages stating it was the most beautiful wedding they ever attended and there would never be another one to compare to it. They were raving about the cocktail hour. People could not believe the assortment of food and how delicious it was. Lakeside delivered on everything that Syed promised to us. They even had a surprise for us, which is a tradition, that I will not ruin by telling what it was for future weddings there. We knew it was going to be the best day of our lives … but it by far exceeded our expectations!!!

The Lakeside Manor made my wedding day unforgettable! Syed was amazing and worked with us every step of the way to make sure everything was perfect. The price was very reasonable, the food was great and the venue looked absolutely beautiful. I was so happy with my wedding that I am having my baby shower at the Lakeside Manor too!

The Lakeside Manor gave me the most beautiful wedding I could ask for. Syed was wonderful. He was very professional and on top of everything. Never a problem with anything I asked for! The service was top notch the night of the wedding. Everything flowed wonderfully because everyone was so attentive to my husband and I, and to all the of guests as well. Everything we asked for was brought to us with a smile, in fact, I hardly had to ask for anything! Everything I wanted or needed done was done already for me. The Lakeside Manor was not only gorgeous, but I was actually told by a huge portion of the guests that the wedding was “gorgeous and the best food they had ever had at a wedding”..they were so impressed with the raw seafood bar and the huge assortment of delicious hors devours! People had acually told me it was the best wedding they had ever went to. I couldn’t say enough good things about the Lakeside Manor. I wish I could have another wedding there : )

Just wanted to thank you for all you did to make Dominique and Paul’s wedding reception so fabulous. When a relative of ours who is COMMISSIONER in New york City comments that it was the best wedding he had ever been to in years..You know it was a success! He’s been to many.
